In addition to offering instruction at our main facility in Columbia, South Carolina, our American Heart Association Certified Instructors may bring our course directly to your group. The best class and timetable will be offered to you as part of our personalized approach.

A basic workplace course for those who need CPR certification for their employment or to satisfy OSHA requirements, the Heartsaver CPR & AED course is available. This could includes parents, high school students, teachers coaches and others.

BLS Certification Course

Heart code BLS Certification Course

  • (Healthcare Workers)
  • 1 Hour 30 Min Course
  • For providers who have completed the American Heart Association Heart code BLS online course. Register for this course to complete a skills session and receive e-card

Be advised individuals will need to bring proof of online heart code completion (i.e. printed heart code certificate)


Course Explanation

  • High-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants
  • The AHA Chain of Survival, specifically the BLS components
  • Important early use of an AED
  • Effective ventilations using a barrier device
  • Importance of teams in multi-rescuer resuscitation and performance as an effective team member during multi-rescuer CPR
  • Relief of foreign-body airway obstruction (choking) for adults and infants

Heart saver CPR/First Aid/AED
